Mr. Hoang Thanh Vinh is a Program Analyst at the Climate Change and Environment Unit (CCEU) at UNDP Vietnam. Vinh is responsible for chemicals, waste, and circular economy and ocean portfolio at CCEU. Vinh has been recognized for specific expertise on waste and plastic, public-private policy dialogue, circular economy advocacy with strong partnership with Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Provincial People’s Committees, academia and other stakeholders.
Prior to joining UNDP, Vinh was a senior officer at Waste Management Department under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, where had 15 years extensive experience in the area of waste management, chemical remediation and the use of economic instrument in environmental management.
Vinh holds a Master of Science in Environmental Management from Coventry, UK (2007) and Degree of Environmental Science from Hanoi University of Natural Science (2004).
